Many fans of Donald Lawrence and Tri-City Singers are mourning the loss of renowned choir member Minister Erica Bratton-McCollough. Minister McCollough, who passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016, was well-known throughout the country as being the lead vocalist of “God,” “Great Things,” “When the Saints Go To Worship,” and a powerful remake of Tramaine Hawkins’ “Lord I Try.” Minister McCollough also performed with Patrick Love and The A. L. Jinwright Mass Choir on “With a Made Up Mind/Heaven.”
A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, Minister McCollough held the position as music director for the Greater Paradise Christian Center in Baltimore, Maryland, under the leadership of Overseer Shawn Bell and First Lady A. Faye Bell.
